Kansas Flint Hills Here's an area that is, well, different. The Kansas Flint Hills are one of my favorite regions. They're a thin sliver of rolling prairie running north and south through eastern Kansas. Their big draw? Isolation! So don't tell anyone. Several of us took a fall bike ride there a while back.
